He was born October 4, 1933 to the late Edward G. and Ludwina (Steinberger) Molyet. Bernie was a life-long farmer, a member of the family farm corporation, Lions Club and enjoyed singing with the Lake Plains Barbershop group and the choirs at Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s Churches.
On January 7, 1956 he married Ruth (Poorman) Molyet she survives along with theirchildren Michael Molyet of Old Fort, Pamela Engelmann of Fostoria, Kimberly (Denny) Yoakum of Kansas, OH, Jeffrey (Kristi) Molyet and Gregory Molyet both of Old Fort ; seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Norbert and Ronald Molyet, sisters Margaret Broadman, Mary Dickman, Agnes Darr and Rita Ralston. Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers Paul and Donald Molyet, sisters Pauline Chudzinski and Dorothy Sugar.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Keller Koch Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street Fremont, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30A.M. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Kardzis officiating.
