William Asher

He was born on February 19, 1953 in Rome City, Indiana to Clifford and Dorothy Helen (Hart) Asher.

Bill graduated from Huntertown High School. He worked for Millgrove Landscaping for 23 years.

He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and fishing.

Survivors include his children, Shannon Asher (Sara Dirrim) of Angola, Indiana, Jeremy Asher of Michigan, Veronica Lindberg of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Jennifer (Jason) Book of Fremont, Indiana, fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters, Lorraine (Walter) Sarzynski of Hanceville, Alabama, and Teryl Franks of Florida, a brother, Chuck (Sharon) Laws of Avilla, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Asher, and a grandson, Collin Book.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Saturday at Beams Funeral Home prior to the memorial service.

Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Jennifer and Jason Book, 5665 E 540 N, Fremont, Indiana 46737, immediately following the committal services at the cemetery.

Memorial donation in his memory are requested to the family.
