He was born on May 10, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois.
Ken was an Eagle Scout and Scout Master. He served in the Army as a Ward Master at the VA Hospital in Battle Creek, where he met the love of his life, Beverly (French). Ken then enlisted in the US Marine Corps, serving his Country in the Korean War.
Ken loved his Country, his family, friends, and his Savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, they were married for an incredible 73 years, yes, they loved and adored each other. They raised five children. Surviving are children, Jon (Susan) Snyder of Waynesville, North Carolina, Jodie (Tony) Green of Angola, Indiana and James (Susan) Snyder of Athens, Georgia, and preceded in death by sons, Gerald and Jeff Snyder. Also he was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sisters, Lorraine and Joan.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Isabelle (Musselman) Snyder.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Angola United Methodist Church, Angola, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 18, 2024 at Angola United Methodist Church, 220 W. Maumee Street, Angola, Indiana. Rev. Tim Terrell will officiate the service.
Burial will follow the service at Lake View Cemetery, Quincy, Michigan, with military honors conducted by the Angola American Legion Color Guard and the US Marine Corps Honor Team.
