Mario was born on September 19, 1952 in La Loma, Manila, Philippines to the late Mr. Victoriano Romano Sr. and the late former Martina Agsaulio. He migrated to the United States in June of 1976 with his siblings. Mario had three brothers; Manuel Sr, Victoriano Jr, Cesar and four sisters; Norma, Esther, Lilia, and Imelda.
He received his degree in business at University of the East in Manila, Philippines. Mario worked for the United States Postal Services for 32 years where he also retired in 2015. Mario enjoyed playing the guitar, playing Mahjong, BINGO, tennis, singing karaoke and making jokes. His jokes and ability to make everyone laugh will always leave a lasting memory to all that knew him. He also loved cooking his favorite Filipino recipes; “imbutido” and “pancit molo” are two of many.
He married Necita Naron in January 3, 1978 and was married for 41 years. Together they had two sons, Marvelon and Brian. He leaves behind three grandchildren Austin, Mahala, and Maui; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on July 22, 2019 at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church on 279 S. Main Street, Milpitas CA. Burial will follow the funeral service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery on 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont CA. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lima Family Milpitas Fremont Mortuary.
