She was born January 29, 1954, in Hunan, China to Weibai Hu and Yuhua Chen. She married Jason Yunjian Li on February 7, 1983 and worked as a librarian before moving to the United States in 1991.
Lisa enjoyed her family, cooking and taking care of others. She was very devout in her faith and actively participated at the River of Life Christian Church. Her warmth, loyalty, patience, and thoughtfulness brought joy to all who knew her. We will greatly miss her enthusiastic personality and engaging smile.
Lisa is survived by her husband Jason and daughter Lucy; four brothers Yiping (Yuzhi), Yijing (Aidi), Yimei (Wenkan), and Yijiang (Jianzhao); one sister Diane (Raymond); and many adoring cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 3pm at Lima Family Milpitas Fremont Mortuary in Fremont, CA. Friends may visit on Saturday, April 21 from 3-5pm and again on Sunday, April 22 prior to services, from 2-3pm.
