William Boyd Leggette

William Boyd Leggette, 79 of Fredericksburg died at his residence on Thursday, February 9, 2017. He is survived by two daughters, Amber Leggette- Aldrich and Nikol Jones; sister, Cleia Ann Tucker; and three grandchildren, Daniel Harris, Shelby Jones, and Jordan Jones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Yvonne Leggette and two grandsons, Jason Harris and Christian Aldrich. He was a retired veteran with 22 years of service in the Navy, followed by another 20 years of government service with N.I.H. He was a man of honor and integrity, with a deep sense of loyalty and devotion to his family. For those closest to him, his humor and character, and love for his “babies” will forever remain in their hearts, and he will be missed by many. A graveside service will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made in his name to Rikki’s Refuge PO Box 1357, Orange VA 22960.
