Shirley Lillian Dove

Shirley Lillian Dove, age 72, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1947 in Washington, DC the daughter of the late William Woodruff and Shirley (Murphy) Poole. She retired as a Cleaning Supervisor for Boeing. Her husband, Robert James Dove, one daughter, Patty Dove, one brother, Junior Poole, three sisters, Linda Woodruff, Mamie Norman, Molly Stogner, preceded her in death. Survivors include her three daughters, Shirley Burkett and husband Donald of Culpeper, VA, Theresa Dove and fiancé Rickey Beard of Fredericksburg, VA, Sam Brown and husband David of Fredericksburg, VA; three brothers, Larry Woodruff and wife Linda, Jimmy Poole, Warren Poole and wife Debbie; three sisters, Diane Smith, Debbie Harrell, Barbara Poole; 11 grandchildren, Chrissy Wightman (Sheldon), Robert Burkett (Theresa), Rusty Burkett (Becca), Jenny Burkett (Mike), Randy Burkett (Holly), Jerry Cook, Jason Cook, Heather Estes (Shane), Bobby Estes, David (DB) Brown (Carrie), Josh (Maggot) Brown (Paula) and 20 great grandchildren: Haleigh, Jordan, Stephanie, Kara, James, Benzie, Ryder, Chasity, Riley, Lincoln, Jerry, Austin, Kaylie, Easton, Gabby, Kayla, Shane, Princeton, Cameron, Kylynn. Her Fur Babies Scooby and Buc Buc. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA with Rev. Amos Healy officiating.
