Sandra Mae (McClellan) Hamilton, born July 4, 1939 - United with her Savior July 22, 2024.
Sandra was born in Miami, Florida to William McClellan & Janee (Murphy) McClellan. At a young age she saw something different in her school friends and asked if she could go to church with them.
At church she heard the good news of the gospel, confessed her sin, and accepted Christ as her Savior. The story of her life revolved around this decision.
Sandra met Thomas Hamilton at church in Miami. They were married in August 1959 and began serving together in Christian ministry. Tom became a pastor and Sandra was a devoted wife and school teacher. Together they were instrumental in starting and/or helping several Christian schools take off throughout Florida. As in their ministry and their life, they were an inseparable and a well balanced team for more than 60 years - a great model of Christian marriage, serving Christ, and others.
Sandra is survived by her two daughters - Bethany Drum (husband David Drum), and Rebekah Rowan, five grandchildren - Nathan Drum (wife MaryBeth), Seth Drum, Dara Sigsbee (husband Morgan), Samuel Rowan, and Gabrielle Rowan, and two great grandchildren - Sadie, and Billy.
