Robert Dean Guthrie

Robert Dean “Bob” Guthrie, age 76, of Spotsylvania, VA passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 17, 1943 in Jamestown, Ohio the son of the late William and Northa (Fudge) Guthrie. He served in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967. He retired as Lead Operator at Therma Tru of Fredericksburg. His son Robert W. Rinehart and his daughter Vonda Mae Rinehart preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife, Emma Mae Guthrie of 51 years; his children, Robyn Dee Guthrie of Spotsylvania Va., Nikki Diane Fortune (Bill) of Fredericksburg, Va., Lori. Owen (Bruce) of Fredericksburg, Va., Mark Alan Rinehart (Debbie) of Spotsylvania; four brothers, Larry Guthrie, Eddie Guthrie, Russell Guthrie, W. Don Guthrie; one sister, Judy Kay Rhoades; 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Monday December 2, 2019 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA where funeral services will be held at Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 11am. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
