Peggy Ann Cowan

She was born on December 15, 1942 in Fredericksburg, VA the daughter of the late Carroll C. and Elizabeth (Woolfrey) Smith.

Her brother, Carroll C. Smith, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband, Gueron E. “Gary” Cowan; two sons, Gary Cowan of Woodford, VA and Robbie Cowan of Spotsylvania, VA; three daughters, Heather Thompson and husband Carey of Spotsylvania, VA, Wendy Dukes and husband David of Noblesville, IN, and Amanda Henson and husband Joshua of Spotsylvania, VA; 11 Grandchildren, Travis Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Calob Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Trenton Thompson, Megan Dukes, Emily Dukes, Jason Dukes, Ryan Gulino Jr., Tyler Gulino, Joshua Henson II; 2 Great-grandchildren, Aiden Thompson, Abel Thompson.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Cameron West officiating.
