Melvin Sorrells

Melvin Eugene Sorrells, 78 of Louisa formerly of Fredericksburg passed away at Louisa Health and Rehab Center on November 5, 2013. He loved fishing, baseball, football, and nascar. He also liked working in his garden, which he had every year. He is survived by six children, Florence Herring of Earlyville, Brenda Dillard of Falmouth, Donnie Sorrells of Mineral, Dennis Sorrells of Knightsdale, NC, Lynn Gibson of Louisa, and Roger Sorrells of Spotsylvania; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth and daughter, Judy Perry. His service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends and hour prior to the service.
