She was born October 5th 1943 in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
Linda gave life to two children, Debbie Griffis and Ralph "Brother" Burgess Jr.
She worked at GH pants factory for 25 years; enjoyed writing poetry and she published several poem books. Her heart was as big as her smile. She is remembered by all her family and friends.
Linda is predeceased by her parents: Queen Ester Brooks and Edward Freeman.
Survivors include two children: Debbie Griffis-Stull and Ralph "Brother" Burgess Jr.; three grandchildren: Crystal Pravlik, Trey Burgess and Linda Burgess; as well as several great grandchildren.
She will be forever loved and missed by every life she has touched.
The family will be holding a small graveside ceremony for Linda at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at the Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 1019 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
