Jennifer Pounds Ijames, 48 of Fredericksburg passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was born on April 24, 1968 to Wilmer and Elaine Pounds. She was a 1986 graduate of Stafford High School. Our Lord took her away from her demons. All of her friends and family will shed tears because she is not with us now, but we can rejoice for her, knowing she is in a much better place.
She is also survived by her son, Alan Ijames; sister, Jessica Gyllenhoff (Leif); niece and nephew, Tatum and Jacob; and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Rappahannock Area Community Services Board.
