James Edward Bennett Jr.

James Edward (Jimmy) Bennett Jr., 58, of Spotsylvania County, died on June 8, 2016. Jimmy was an active member of Spotsylvania Baptist Church and a long time member of Sparta Hunt Club. He was a retired Master Electrician and an all-around handyman who volunteered many hours helping others. He was born in Alexandria, Va. to James Edward Bennett Sr. and the late Joyce Ann Bennett. Jimmy was a loving and devoted husband of almost 30 years to Tanya S. Bennett . He is survived by his father; his brothers, Steve and Danny; his wife; his 5 children, Elaine Cyrus, James E. Bennett III, Louise Fenwick, Amber Bennett and Amanda Zandstra; and his 6 beautiful Grandbabies. A memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Saturday June 11, 2016 at Spotsylvania Baptist Church. In leu of flowers his family is asking for donations to be made to Spotsylvania Baptist Church.
