Hattie Pauline Davis, age 79, of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 10, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, Virginia, the daughter of the late Slim and Lena Shaffier. She loved spending time with her family but most importantly her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was tremendous. On her free time, she loved shopping at thrift stores and yard sales. She enjoyed reading. She was co-owner of Spotsylvania Heating & Air.
Hattie is survived by her sons, Joe Davis (Karen) and William Davis; daughters, Donna Brooks (Johnny) and Connie Malicki; brother, Dawney Shaffier (Trudy); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Hattie was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Davis.
A visitation for Hattie will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A burial will occur Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Confederate Cemetery, 7100 Dr, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553.
