Dorothy M. Jacobs-Raymond

She was born on December 6, 1942 in Culpeper, VA the daughter of Walter L. and Maude E. (Mitchell) Myers. She had worked at the Free Lance Star and later for Maruchan.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Harvey and Joyce Hollibaugh

Survivors include her four sons, Troy K. Jacobs (Karen) of Prince George, VA, David M. Jacobs (Lisa) of Spotsylvania, VA, Robert S. Jacobs (Tammy) of Fredericksburg, VA, Chad S. Jacobs (Lisa) of Spotsylvania, VA; two daughters, Danielle S. Ballard of Spotsylvania, VA, Carri L. Rodgers (Kenneth) of Spotsylvania, VA; one sister, Barbara Callahan (Jack) of Ruther Glen, VA; grandchildren, Sherry Catlett, Tiffany Howard, David Jacobs, Jr; Eric Jacobs, Kamber Jacobs, Aaron Jacobs, Alicia Jacobs, Liz Jacobs, Shay Jacobs, Brandon Jacobs, Thomas Ballard, Carmen Rodgers, Justin Rodgers and Abigail Kelley; great grandchildren. Hunter Jacobs, Kendall Catlett, Kacie Catlett, Kevin Catlett and Izabella Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, January 9, 2023 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Mike Wondree officiating. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
