I used to work with Dee at Mary Washington Hospital a long time ago and when I saw her picture in the obituaries it brought back such memories, all of them good and most of them hilariously funny. Just thinking about her after all these years made me smile. She was a joy to work with and I know the angels in heaven are all laughing today. Rest in peace, Dee.

Rest In Peace Mom. You are truly Loved and Missed!

Doris was a very sweet lady i was the Christain Education Director at the Fredericksburg Corp in 2011 and i spent many Wensdays going to the nursing homes with Mrs Doris, many good memories od her stories she told us on the bus, rest well good and faithful servent.

In the 1970's I belonged to an organization that Dee was a member of.  I got to know her and really enjoyed her in the meetings.  She was always so pleasant, such fun, and nice to have as a friend.  During that time the organization had a convention away from around here.  Dee was driving with her mother and asked if I wanted to ride with her.  Others had told me she was a NY driver but """I didn't get it""" and said yes.  I can tell you I got it by the time we arrived.  She stopped to ask directions and before the guy could stand back up from her driver's window she had shot off down the road leaving him bent over.  Another time she backed up the exit ramp of I95.  I had so much fun on that trip that I still talk about it today.

Our prayers are with your family as they move on without this great lady.  She has touched so many lives in a positive way, God has welcomed her with open arms.  May you find warmth in your heart as she rejoices with her heavenly father.  Our condolences to the whole family.

I know my Mom is with Pop now, and that she lived a good , long life , so that comforts me !!!!! I have many good memories of my Mom to cherish!! My grandma Dee was a beautiful woman! I thank god I had her in my life and as a grandma. I will miss her stories, her advice, our talks, our laughs and cries. I know she is at peace and with her husband again! Love you grandma Dee and poppy...

Mrs. Oliff brought joy to many people at The Salvation Army.  I still have the wind chime she gave me.  It hangs on my porch and I think of her every time I hear the chimes.  I thank God for her and her prayers.  God bless the family.
