She is survived by Jim Selbe, her husband of 39 years, her daughter, Christina Selbe, her son, Michael Selbe, and her brother, Jimmy Hughes. Born on April 12, 1957, in Levittown, Pennsylvania to James and Geraldine Hughes, Debbie embarked on a journey marked by a deep sense of duty and service. Above all, Debbie cherished her role as a devoted mother. She poured boundless love, wisdom, and guidance into her children's lives, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today. Her family was the heart of her world, and her nurturing spirit continues to resonate in their hearts and minds. As a proud Marine Corps veteran, Debbie exemplified resilience and bravery, serving her country with honor and distinction. Her commitment to excellence earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her during her military career.
After raising her children and watching them become self-reliant adults, Debbie embraced a new calling as a weight loss counselor.
