Danny Floyd Fisher

Danny Fisher, 74, of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital. Danny was born January 3, 1946 in Bisbee, AZ. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He retired from Freeport McMoran copper mine after 42 years. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his children, Teri Piersol (John), Eric Breiding (Laura), and Boone Fisher (Kristen); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Eddie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Fisher and Elner Crabtree Fisher; and his brothers, Homer, Jimmy, Joe, and Chuck. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service. Private services will be held at a later date.
