Bonnie passed away October 19th 2024 with her family and friends by her side. Bonnie was born in Germany to her U.S military father Thomas J Shipp and her mother Elsie M Tony before coming back to the states.
Bonnie lived in California and Colorado before moving to Virginia with her son Sean . While working at MCQ in the early 2000’s she met her long time companion and soulmate Tom. Bonnie had many interests and hobbies. She shared the love of antiques and going to yard and garage sales with her sister Tammy. She loved watching her favorite sports team the Washington Nationals . She also loved the ocean and loved to vacation on Hilton Head Island . On Sundays she enjoyed hiking and picnicking in Prince William Forest Park . Bonnie loved to bake and everyone enjoyed her desserts. Gardening was another one of her hobbies that she loved to do.
She loved cats and dogs and above all she loved her little dog Nugget , who accompanied her on all her trips and hikes and picnics. Bonnie was preceded in death by her son Sean , her sister Laurel and her brother Tom.
Bonnie is survived by her long time companion Tom Rostine of more than 20 years , her grandson Sean Shipp of Caroline County Va. Sisters Tammy (Smitty), JR ,Levi and Jake from Colorado Springs Co. Jennifer (Richard)Josh of Fountain Co and Marlys from Pueblo Co.
