Annie Catlett

Annie Thurston Catlett, 93 of White Oak passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Annie was born in Middlesex county. She moved to Fredericksburg in 1949 after graduating from Syringa High School in Middlesex county. She worked at G & H Manufacturing where she met the love of her life, Robert. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible, canning and freezing vegetables. Chocolate candy and Captain D's fish were her favorite. She loved her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, she was proud of her family. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Washington (Mike); two sons, Kevin Catlett (Donna) and Steven Catlett (Loree); grandchildren, Krystal, Michael, Chris, Laura, Heather, & Lindsay; great grandchildren, Jaydan, Noah, Elijah, Maddox, Owen, & Andrew. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert Catlett, her sisters, Edna Ballard, Dorothy Finall & Margaret Newton. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church at 12:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Kristy Jacobs who was more like a friend to Annie and took good care of her. The family would like to thank the Hospice team for Annie's care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Washington Hospice or a charity of your choice in memory of Annie.
