Terry Wayne Day, age 69, a True Servant of God went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2024. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 29, 1955, the son of the late Oscar and Geraldine (Cathers) Day. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Day in 2024.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Roxanna (Amis) Day; his son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Lisa Day; his daughter and son-in-law, Farrah and Drew Keller; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Tony Daugherty; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Sharon Day; a sister-in-law, Joyce Day; 5 grandchildren, Blake Day, Daisy, Scarlett, Ruby and Vivian Keller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Terry attended The Full Gospel Holiness Church for 35 years, serving the Lord and the church as a Deacon. He was employed by Lau Industries as a machinist for 20 years and was a vintage car enthusiast. Terry loved all sports but especially an avid UK Fan and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Gospel music.
Terry was kind, tender-hearted and the most patient and compassionate husband, father and papaw, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Terry is on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m., at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with Reverend Tony Daugherty and Drew Keller officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, Ohio.
