Pamela Janeen Rice

Pamela Janeen Rice, age 69, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at her residence due to complications of metastatic breast cancer. Pam was born October 6, 1954, in Middletown, OH, to Eugene and Anna Mae (Cochran) Combs.

Pam was a 1973 graduate of Carlisle High School and longtime resident of Franklin, OH. She worked for many years in the bakeries at Kroger and WPAFB Commissary. She also worked for Burrows for several years. Pam loved spending time with her family and visiting the beach. She could usually be found reading and talking about her dogs.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Combs, and her daughter, Rachel Rice. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Rice, her son, Steve Combs, her daughter Tobi Rice, her mother, Anna Mae Combs, her sister, Sheila Combs, her brother, Chris Combs, plus her fur babies, Fred and Dannie.

Visitation and funeral services will be on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Anderson Funeral, 40 N. Main St., Springboro, OH. Visitation will be from 10 am – 12 pm. Funeral services, officiated by Len Roberts, will be at 12 pm. The burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, OH.
