Nancy Sue (Rickard) Byrd

Nancy Sue (Rickard) Byrd, age 80, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Atrium Medical Center. Nancy was born November 8, 1941 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Carl and Edna (Case) Rickard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Byrd , two daughters, Cynthia Ann Bottorff and Lisa Kaye Byrd and two brothers.

Nancy is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Lynn and Kevin Combs, Jennifer Rebecca and Terry Green. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Nancy was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved to garden, crochet, cook and bake.

Above all, Nancy was the best caregiver for her daughter Lisa for 58 years.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Springboro Chapel, 40 North Main Street, Springboro. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
