Michael "Scott" Kinder; age 61; of Franklin, OH; passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2019 from an extended illness. Scott was born to the late Bud and Bette Kinder of Franklin. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1976 and attended Miami University in Middletown. Scott served in the US Army and retired from AK Steel.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Bette Kinder and his youngest sister, Barbie. He is survived by his son, Joe Kinder, daughter, Jamie (Jon) McDermott, step-daughter, Nikki (Pat) Arnold, sisters, Kristy and Julie, brother, Todd (Libby), grandkids, Howie, Jack, and Natalie, and many nieces and nephews. He loved reading, classic rock, and his Cleveland Browns; he was a loyal fan until the end.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH 45005. A private Memorial Service will be held Monday morning at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Danny Griffith officiating.
