Charles Fairchild, age 85, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born October 7, 1927, in Big Woods, Kentucky, the son of Kenneth Fairchild and Addie McQuinn Fairchild. He worked at Armco Steel for 39 years, and after retiring worked at Lovely's Furniture for five years. Charles was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, and golfer. He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Ron Solar of Trenton; one son, Paul Donna Fairchild of Okeechobee, Florida; three grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney, and Rachel; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Fairchild in 2011; two grandchildren, Tracy and Jason; and his parents, Addie Collins and Kenneth Fairchild. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Rodney Williams officiating.
