We were a foursome.  Best of friends the four of us.  Tons of vacations together, dinners and events.  She was our bright light.  Always the planner and making arraignments.  Always so positive.  When I battled cancer myself, she called or texted me every single day for 8 months. Even when I was too sick to respond she just wanted me to know that she was thinking of me and praying for me.  Every person she met would become a friend.  She knew everyone and loved everyone.  She loved her family, friends, co-workers, the Franklin Community and they loved her.   She will be forever missed by all who knew her.  I am a better person because of her and I am heart broken from the loss.  Love you my beautiful friend more than a trillion skittles.

Carolyn grew up three doors down from me here in Hunter. She was always the cutest, sweetest little girl and I watched her grow into a beautiful, kindhearted,  lovely lady. My boys always love to torment her and I always took her side.  I loved all of her post on Facebook. They were always uplifting, kind and showed a lot of her family that she adored. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family at this very hard time. RIP Carolyn Marie Lacey Martin! 

Aunt CeeCee was loved by so many, there are so many memories with her that will remain with our family. God certainly gained an angel when Carolyn was called home. May everyone find comfort that she is no longer in pain and will forever be watching over all us from the most beautiful seat one can have with so many of our other loved ones that where called home before her.

I have known Carolyn my whole life, we grew up in Hunter together. I can never remember her not having a smile on her face. She was one of the most positive people i have ever known. She was a inspiration to me and im sure to many others as she went on this journey. Heaven defiantly gained a Angel. RIP Carolyn🙏

I have known Carolyn since we were young girls and we were in Jobies together. Years passed after marriages and kids & we reconnected when our daughters cheered together.  To know Carolyn and the kind sweet spirit she had, made you feel better after spending time with her. I have done her hair and Lacey’s hair also for about 5-6 yrs now. We both had lost our daddy’s who we were extremely close to.  And we shared so many stories and talked about life when she was in my chair.  I cherish every single one. She loved her family so much and was just a kind sweet person I know will be so dearly missed. She is having quite the reunion with her sweet dad she missed so much. Rest in sweet peace my dear friend. You are one the best!! And I have cherished every moment we spent together.

Sweet Carolyn became a good friend to me 3 years ago after my husband died.  Being seated near each other at work gave us an opportunity to share stories. 
I will always remember her beautiful smile and comforting words.  She had so much positive energy.  She lived life to the fullest.  Carolyn loved her family.  She was so proud of them!  
My life has been blessed by knowing her.  She will have a special place in my heart.  May God comfort her precious family and give them peace.  They will need strength in the days ahead.
