Carl Duane Slusser, age 65, of Franklin, died Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Hospice of Butler-Warren County . He was born in Middletown June 1, 1948 to Carl and Myrtle (Hanes) Slusser. Carl served in the Army during Vietnam War. He was employed with Atlas Roofing in Franklin . He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry, his father, Carl Slusser Jr., mother, Myrtle Wallace and stepfather, Elbert (Bud) Wallace. Carl is survived by his wife, Penny, a son - Steven (Nikki) Slusser; 2 daughters, Stacie (Jimmy) Riley, Stephanie (Charlie) Meadows and 5 grandchildren, Katelynn, Wyatt, Dylan, Peyton and Kelsey. He also leaves 3 sisters, Donna Grau, Carol Burns and Leda Deaton. Funeral services will be 5:00 pm Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin.
