Betty Alice Barrett, 87, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023. She was born on October 17th, 1935 to the late Perry and Dona Marie (Nichols) LeMaster, and was the youngest of ten children.
Betty was a loyal employee at SaveALot and Super Value, working all the way up to age 84. She often came highly recommended for her loyalty and hard work. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and spent many hours with her grandkids driving to and cheering them on at their activities as they grew up. She loved to watch her granddaughter Kelly during her many years of dance. Betty would even keep her loved ones company on the phone as they drove home from work. She loved to crochet, and made baby blankets that brought joy to many.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Dillard Barrett; her parents, Perry and Dona; and her nine siblings.
Betty is survived by her son, Richard (Debbie) Barrett; her grandchildren Tim Barrett and Kelly (Jean-Claude) Beasley; her great-grandchildren Daniel and Elizabeth Beasley; and her friends and support network Betty and Wayne Ellison, Tina Sloan, Marsha Calvert, and Linda and Vicki Theiss.
A visitation for Betty Barrett will be held on Wednesday, January 25th from 10am to 12pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St. in Franklin, OH. A service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm, officiated by Pastor Noah Park. Burial will follow at Springboro Cemetery.
