Barbara Jewell Burress, age 79, of Franklin, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday January 26, 2017 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born in McKee, Kentucky on November 25, 1937 to William and Mary (Williams) Gabbard. She was employed with Hamilton Plastics/Worthington Inc for 22 years and retired in 1995. She was preceded in death by her father, William David Gabbard, mother, Mary Gabbard, husband, Jesse Burress, and daughter, Debbie Fuson. Barbara is survived her two sons, Tony (Barb) Burress, Larry (Candy) Burress; three daughters, Bev (Billy) Burt, Sharon (Rick) Napier, Karen (Jimmy) Allen; brother, John Gabbard; sister, Laurie Harris; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services are 1:30 pm Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend John Gabbard and Reverend Brent Gabbard officiating.
