William "Billy" Earl Kraiza

He was born on September 1, 1953 in Newburgh, NY, the son of John and Joyce (Barnum) Kraiza.

He joined the Sidney Center Fire Department in December of 1995 where he volunteered as a fireman, EMS, and recently fire police.

Billy enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, wrestling, woodworking, motorcycling, four-wheeling, and most of all- spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Kraiza of Sidney Center, NY; son Adam (Erin) Kraiza and their children Evan and Ella of Unadilla, NY; Daughter Neoma (Kenneth) Skala and their children Kyle and Jordan of Bovina Center, NY; Brother John (Lily) Kraiza of Washingtonville, NY; brother Paul Kraiza of Delmar, NY; sister-in-law Pge (Gary) Bell of Tennessee; brother-in-law Donald (Sarah) Bair of Tennessee; sister-in-law Laura Bair of Walton, NY; sister-in-law Margaret “Peggy” Carey (George Wise) of Mount Upton, NY; sister-in-law Loretta Bair of Deposit, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, John and Joyce Kraiza; mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Alberta Bair; brother, Thomas Kraiza; brother-in-laws, Herman and John Bair; and sister-in-law, Lillian Sundal.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Sidney Center Fire Station on October 15, 2023 from 11:00am-6:00pm.
