Martha Polidore, age 83, a native and resident of Franklin, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the Carpenter House in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Triumph Baptist Church 1005 Iberia Street Franklin, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Franklin, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her three sons, David W. Lewis, Clatter W. Polidore, and Joseph W. Polidore; three daughters, Lorraine Lewis, Hester (Arthur) Henderson, and Zuleika Polidore; four brothers, John M. Jack, Harry Scott, Michael Scott, and Charles Scott; her sister, Joyce Davis; twelve grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Polidore; her mother, Daisy B. Scott; father, Freddy Lewis; a daughter, Loretta L. Carter; son, Aristede Polidore; a grandson, Damion Lewis; two sisters, Shirley Williams and Barbara Lewis; and three brothers, Sidney Jack, Sr., Jessie Davis, and Charlie Walker Scott.
