Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, on September 13, 1940, he was the son of Celestino and Sebastiana (Colon) DelValle. Mr. DelValle came to Massachusetts from Puerto Rico in his late teens and resided in Boston before settling in Framingham 40 years ago. He worked in the restaurant business and shared his passion of cooking for various area restaurants, including the Coach Grill in Wayland.
Devoted father of Miguel DelValle, Jr. of Marlborough, Jaime DelValle of Framingham, Gabriel DelValle of Leominster; loving brother of Juan and Luis DelValle, both of Puerto Rico, Carlos DelValle of Boston, Maria Morales of Port St. Lucie, FL; proud grandfather of Gianna and Alexander. Miguel is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five siblings, Felix, Irene, Antonio, Francisco “Papo”, and Francisco “Tite”.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:30AM from the MetroWest Funeral & Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Avenue, Framingham with an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen Parish, 221 Concord Street, Framingham. Interment will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 8:30-10:30AM at the funeral
