Born and raised in Ashland, Henry graduated from Ashland High School with the class of 1958. He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962. Mr. Borelli worked for General Motors and retired in the early 90’s after 27 years with the company. Duke was an avid fan of all New England sports teams and enjoyed attending many games with his good friend, the late Richard Moore. Henry was a Framingham Little League coach and umpire for a number of years.
Devoted father of Dennis Borelli and his wife Pamela of Auburn, Bonnie Borelli of Framingham; beloved son of Edith (Mosher) Borelli of Webster; proud grandfather of Vincent Borelli of Worcester, Ayva Borelli and Alec Borelli both of Auburn. He is also survived by his siblings, Edward Borelli and his wife Martha of Webster, James Borelli and his wife Donna of Woonsocket, RI, Jane Williams and her husband David of Madison, AL; also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Jean (McCarthy); also by his second wife, Linda (Hancock); and by his father, Henry Borelli.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 13th, from 4-8PM at the MetroWest Funeral & Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Avenue, Framingham.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10AM at the Church of Nazarene at Edgebrook, 115 Edgebrook Road, Framingham.
Burial with military honors will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham.
