He graduated from Tilton Northfield High School in 1968 and enjoyed fishing and school sports. At 17 years of age, Michael joined the United States Army. He served in Korea, Germany and the United States. While stationed in Germany he met the love of his life, Brigitte Konazski and married her soon after. Michael returned from the Army and started his second career as a pharmacist.
He was a avid fly fisherman, fly tier, bow hunter, woodworker, card/poker player, and loved teaching his passions and was a one-of-a-kind role model. But most of all he loved his wife and family. After the death of his wife, his friend Craig Puckett and favorite grandson, Michael Clifford III were his reasons for living.
He is survived by his son, Michael Clifford II; grandchildren, Michael Clifford III, Chelsey Clifford and Elyssa B. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Abby H. and Jaxson H. As well as his favorite Daughter in Law, Marsha Clifford; siblings, Judy W., Mark C. and Stewart C.
He was and is a beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
If anyone asks, "I've gone fishing."
