Mary Regina, 89, went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2016. She was born January 30, 1927 to Armiltia and JohnBixenmann in Grand Island, Nebr. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, her son Paul Decker and grandson Joshua Faris. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lynn (Willy) Faris, Mary (Kerry( Coleman), Richard (Cathy) Decker, Robert Decker, and Tom Decker; sister Jeannette Sears, brother Joe Bixenmann; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-granchildren.
Mary worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Norwood Development before her retirement. She was a strong women of faith whose priorities were God, family, friends, and home. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, dogs (especially Joe Boy), gardening, long car rides, ice cream and candy-the sweetest of life’s blessings during her last years.
Rosary, 7:00 pm, July 19th at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. US Hwy 85/87 Fountain, Colorado.
Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church 5354 S. Highway 85/87.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
