Leslie Joyce Davis

October 17, 1957 ~ September 14, 2023

Leslie left this world peacefully on the morning of September 14th. Leslie was born at Nouasseur AFB in Casablanca, Morocco to Robert and Vera Hinshaw. She married Alan G. Davis on February 12, 1982 and together they had three children.

Leslie is survived by Alan and children: Mallory, Haley, and Zachary; her father, Robert, and her sister, Leanna, and numerous extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Vera, and her brother, Mark.

As a youngster and 'Air Force Brat', Leslie lived in several places in Europe, Asia, and America and was able to visit numerous historical locations. She became an excellent crafter, designing and making many items, including jewelry, accessories, and especially unique Christmas ornaments. Leslie was a talented musician, playing several instruments including piano, and composing many pieces of music.

Led (as she was known) was a passionate lover of animals and plants and she favored rats, birds, fish, and especially cats as pets.

She was a enthusiast of Ford Mustangs. Leslie met Alan at a Mustang car club meeting and together they shared in ownership of several models of the Mustang. Her 1966 Mustang Fastback was her prized possession.

Led was a generous, gracious, and caring person. She always was willing to help others using her time and talents.

Leslie will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and leaves a legacy of compassion and love.

A visitation for Leslie will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.
