She is now free and at peace with our Lord and Savior.
Lorraine was born to Ernesto and Josefita Lujan in Las Vegas, NM. She loved her hometown of Las Vegas, NM.
She attended the University of Highlands, where she received a scholarship in Drama.
She was married to the love of her life Hilario (Larry) for 48 years. She traveled around the world and various states as a military wife. She also enjoyed going bowling, to classic car shows, barbecues, and spending time at the Knights of Columbus with her husband.
She was a dedicated Army wife and homemaker. She was a member of the VFW, also the historian and on the auxiliary at the Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed dressing up in her Bronco gear and cheering on her favorite team (The Denver Broncos). She enjoyed spending time at the Fountain Valley Senior Center and the West Side Eagles, where she enjoyed dancing and singing karaoke.
She attended St. Dominic’s Catholic church and loved dressing up in her fancy attire.
She is survived by her son (Larry), daughter (Sheryl), grandson (Brandon), granddaughter(Mariah) and great granddaughter(Mikayla Grace). She is also survived by, two sisters and numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held at 10:30 am and memorial mass at 11:00 am at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church on Highway 85/87 on Friday, January 28th, 2022.
