William Wayne White

Bill was born in Cisco, Texas to Ralph and Dorothy White. He graduated from Burkett High School in 1946, and enlisted in the Army Air Corps in the same year. He retired form the Air Force in 1966 at Langley AFB, Virginia. Bill married Virginia Ann Baker in 1948 and together they had 5 children, James White, Ellen Petterson, Lou Ann Shumate, Andy White and Susan McFarland. After many years of living in Virginia and working in the financial field, Bill and Virginia moved back home to Fort Worth, Texas in 1979. Bill worked for "Two Bucks" and retired after 20 years of service. After the loss of his wife of 53 years in 2002, Bill married Becky Wood in 2004, and the White family welcomed Becky and her son Roy Wood and his wife Kristen, and their two children Maddie and Grace.

Bill was a member of Genesis United Methodist Church since 1989 and served as an usher among various other positions.

Bill is survived by his wife Becky, his children Jim, Ellen, Lou Ann, Andy, Susan and Roy, as well as 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, along with his sister Virginia Foreman, sisters-in-law Mary White and Dorothy White, and many nieces and nephews.
