William was born May 1, 1934. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1952 and Arlington State College in 1954. He was in the engineering business for 7 years prior to founding Masters International Trucks in Arlington. He operated Masters International for 44 years. He was active in various satellite businesses and community service; The Arlington Boys Club being his passion. He was also a Bank Director of First City National Bank. He retired to his Grandview farm and joked about learning what work really is.
William was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years and high school sweetheart, Patricia Masters; and their first daughter, June Masters Lipman.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura and her husband, Richard; daughter, Holly; son-in-law, Mark and his wife, Tina; granddaughter, Rae and her husband, Matthew; grandson, William; granddaughter, Ruthanne; and great granddaughter, Annie.
His foremost love and devotion was for Almighty God and His Savior Jesus Christ, who made a miracle of his life.
