A visitation for Vicki will be held Friday January 13 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road Fort Worth, Texas 76134.
Her funeral service will be Saturday January 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Eastland Church of Christ, 3090 S Edgewood Terrace, Fort Worth, TX 76119. A graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill memorial Park,
8301 Mansfield Hwy, Arlington, Tx 76001.
Vicki was born in Fort Worth to Harold and Ruth B Hawthorne on April 1st, 1959. She received Christ at a very early age from Aleen Ave Church of Christ and then Eastland Church of Christ. She graduated from Polytech High School and went to Tarrant Community College. Vicki worked at the Tandy Center for 12 years, then worked and retired from Alcon.
Vicki is preceded in death by Father Harold Hawthorne and her brother Roderick Hawthorne.
Vicki is survived by : child Nadiye McClendon, brothers and sisters: Harold Wayne Hawthorne (Edna), Peggy Monticue, Gregory Hawthorne, Tamara Hawthorne (Charlene), Mother: Ruth B Hawthorne, Grandchild: Crissyanna McClendon, and many loving family.
Pallbearers will be: Harold Wayne Hawthorne, Harrison Wright, John Hawthorne and Zary Hawthorne.
The family of Vicki wishes to extend our sincere thanks to doctors and nurses at Texas Oncology and thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Community Hospice. We would also like to thank Laurel Land Funeral Home, Eastland church of Christ and everyone that has reached out to the family.
