Celebration of his life will be on Saturday, February 17, 2018 11:00 AM Great Commission Baptist Church 7700 McCart Avenue. Dr. Douglas Brown Celebrant. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: for Trooper Willie Thomas will be on Friday from 9:00 AMto 4:00 PM Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors and the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Willie worked for Texas Department of Public Safety as a Highway Patrol State Trooper for 40 years and was Presently Employed. He was a member of Great Commission Baptist Church. Left with fond memories: Loving wife, Carol Thomas; his children, Willie Earl Thomas, Jr., William Thomas and wife Marci, Victoria Roberts and husband Tramel, Sheena Scott and Brian Anderson; his mother, Willie Mae Thomas; brother, Andrew Thomas and wife Stephanie; sister, Ramona Smith and husband Joseph; 11 grandchildren and a host nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
