Tallon McCain Eschberger was born on March 24, 2000 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was diagnosed with multiple disabilities as an infant and faced many health challenges throughout his life. Tallon was strong and an inspiration to all that met him.
Tallon was a very happy child with an infectious smile, and he gave the best hugs! He was a 2019 graduate of Crowley High School and attended classes in the LifeSkills program. His amazing teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists created an environment full of love and joy. Both Dr. Worsley and Dr. Baum took great care of him throughout his entire life and we will be eternally grateful. Nurse Marlena and Alexia were very special to Tallon and took such great care of him as well. He was blessed to have so many wonderful people who loved and cared for him.
Tallon enjoyed music therapy every week with Nikki and his favorite instrument was the drum along with her singing Polly Wolly Doodle. Tallon also loved participating in Special Olympics and ULL Challenger baseball every year. Tallon's Big Buddies Chuck and Buster always had him laughing as they ran him around the bases in his wheelchair. Although Tallon was non-verbal, he could communicate with his eyes. He had five favorite toys he loved to play with and the ceiling fan always had to be on!
Tallon's favorite thing to do every night was snuggle with Mom and his zebra blanket, and loved special times with Dad and Sister.
Tallon leaves behind his parents, Todd and Traci; his sister Taralyn; his paternal grandparents Bob and Lina Mae Eschberger, Rick and Nancy Bowles; his Aunt and Uncle Annette and David Eschberger; his cousin Dalton, and other family. His parents are grateful to all the many doctors, nurses, therapists, and his caregiver Stana over the years who took extraordinary care of Tallon. He will be dearly missed and will forever be our shining light! Fly High Tallon!
