On the morning of March 27 2023, Sherry Gail Knudson Pipes went to be with the Lord. She was born in Fort Worth at All Saints Episcopal Hospital, on June 6th, 1971. She is survived, by her Father, her two Sons, and her Husband.
Sherry was a precious daughter, a wonderful mother and passionately a beloved wife. Her Parents, Wanda and George Knudson encouraged Sherry to follow her heart, and she did. Sherry's Love of life manifested itself as she was also the proud and loving mother of Weston and Chandler Neil. Her heart led her to meet and marry the love of her life, Bill. They would travel together, even honeymooning in Hawaii. They would smile and laugh together as they'd play her favorite games, Yahtzee and cards after sweetly tending to her garden and pygmy goats. Sherry was a natural nurturer.
Sherry and Bill attended Northside Baptist Church as she genuinely sought the Lord and was enriched with Godly fellowship there. Sherry liked to remind me often of the beauty in God's Word. I think we'll all best remember Sherry's warm and wonderful smile as it relentlessly shined the abundance of love in her magnanimous heart.
People always ask at funerals if there's anything they can do. I'm certain that if Sherry was still with us, she'd remind us that even if we live to be a hundred twenty years old, that life is precious and life is short. Further, she would gently lovingly, and firmly tug on our heartstrings to call to our memory, that if there's someone you love, or even someone you're currently sideways with, for whatever reason, to please, Please, PLEASE take the time NOW to tell them how amazing and appreciated they are, and most importantly, comfort, assure and edify them by saying, AND meaning:
"I Love You."
