Santos was born April 3, 1942 in Stafford, Texas. She grew up in Bryan, Texas and worked for Alenco. She later moved to Fort Worth where she worked at Anna Dye and Cast and with Swell Plastics.
Santos loved being outdoors and taking care of her plants, fruit trees and varieties of flowers; her favorite being roses. She loved her pet Chihuahuas, they were her babies. Santos was a very caring, devoted person who loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and loved to share it with anyone. She was best known for her tamales and tortillas. Her favorite fruit was watermelon; she always had that when others came to visit. She was Mormon and an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Worth.
Preceded by her parents, Albert and Gregoria Medina; and siblings, Pedro Medina, Domingo Medina and Carmelita Medina.
She is survived by her children, Veronica Moreno Heard and husband Craig, Rudy Moreno, Jr. and wife Chrystal, Vickie Moreno Vargas and husband Scott, Carlos Albert Salcido and Marisa Moreno and her spouse Efrain; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul Medina and wife Peggy of Tennessee, Jessie Medina and wife Marie of Harker Heights, Texas, Antonio Medina and wife Josie of Bryan, Maria "Mary" Henao of Bryan and Ricardo "Ricky" Medina of New Jersey.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurse and caregivers who took care of our mother. A special thanks to the staff and nurses with Encompass Fort Worth Hospice for their kindness and making our mother comfortable in these last couple of weeks. Thank you so very much, it was appreciated.

If the group at visitation exceeds our 50 person capacity, you will be asked to wait outside until enough guests have left that we can invite more guests inside. If the group at the funeral ceremony exceeds our 50 person capacity, you will be asked to wait outside and watch the service from the Laurel Land Fort Worth Facebook Page. The service will be streamed live at 10 am (CST) Friday, May 22, 2020.
