Sandra was born on November 14th, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to Maurice C. and Dollie Vera Stapleton. She attended Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked twelve years at Alcon where she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, going to bible study, and going to church. She was a member at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas for many years.
She was preceded in death by husband James W. Johnson, her parents, and her brothers Douglas Stapleton and Donald Stapleton.
She is survived by son Cecil Johnson and wife Jody of Burleson, son James C. Johnson of Burleson, daughter Karen Hardin and husband Ronnie of Burleson, son Dwayne Johnson and wife Lisa of Alvarado, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Cana Church, 2309 E Renfro St, Burleson, TX 76028. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Burleson Memorial Cemetery, 490 Memorial Plaza, Burleson, TX 76028.
Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Hardin, Derek Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Forrest Taft, John Rangel, Chase Johnson and Robert Villalobos.
