Ronald Richard Bell

Funeral: 11:00am Saturday at Laurel Land, Crowley, Tx.

Ron was born June 8, 1948 in Frost, Texas. He was Honorably discharged from the United States Navy as a Petty Officer First Class after serving 8 and a half years stationed at Naval Submarine School Groton, Connecticut. He served on board SSBN 601 Robert E. Lee and SSBN 657 Francis Scott Key as an Inertial Navigation System Technician, ElectronicsMechanic and Special Instructor.

Ron and his father operated Bell’s TV Repair in Forest Hill for several years. Throughout his career, he worked for all the major electronics companies in the DFW area until his retirement in 2017.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael S. Bell; parents Richard T. and Pinkie L. Bell.

He is survived by his daughters Lisa Bickers of Ft. Worth, Stephanie and husband Greg Nun of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters Anita and husband Al Crouch of Mansfield, Rita and husband Dwayne of Granbury and Charlotte Swint of Arlington; grandchildren Courtney and husband Josh Caton and Allison Bickers of Virginia; Megan and husband Trevor Gallagher, Caitlin and Colin Nun, Jadyn Pohlman, Jocelyne and MadduxBell of Nebraska; great-grandchildren Braden and Eden Caton, Bennett Gallagher.
