Tony Rodriguez, resident of Arlington, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the age of 75 years.
Born in Miami, Florida, but spent over 70 years making his home in Arlington Texas. Tony graduated from Arlington High School and Lincoln Tech. He became a very knowledgeable and meticulous automotive mechanic tech and retired from Vandergriff Honda after 10 years. Tony was also a skilled upholsterer and the owner of Arlington Upholstery for 14 years.
Tony enjoyed roller skating and was a pairs national finalist, loved the color red, playing golf, looking at deer, working with horses, and enjoyed anything that relates to food.
Tony will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years and 9 months, Carolyn, his daughter, Robin Rodriguez, son-in-law, James Buchanan, and brother, Richard Zambito. He will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Aaron Marlar, Nichole Marlar, Bo Buchanan, and Daniel Buchanan, five great grandchildren, and many extended family and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Julio and Jean Rodriguez, his sister Jeanette Kreiter, father in-law, J.D. Ritchey, II, and mother in-law, Lucille Ritchey.
The “Celebration of Tony’s Life” will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 11:00am at Mayfield Road Baptist Church at 1701 E. Mayfield Road, Arlington, Texas, where Tony and Carolyn are members.
