Robert Laverne Davis

Bob was predeceased by his wife Louise, his parents Robert and Lolita, his brother Doug, his two sisters Roberta and Norma and his son Raymond.

He is survived by his son James, and wife Cathy, his grandson Benjamin, his granddaughter Lindsay and husband Josh and his great grandsons Cameron and Caden.

Bob was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Air Force and met his wife. He spent many years traveling and enjoying military life with his wife and two sons. In 1972, he retired from the Air Force and moved to Fort Worth, Texas. He started a job at Power Lift, later known as Clark Lift and became a forklift mechanic. Eventually, he and Louise bought land in the countryside and built their own home. He spent retirement years as a wood crafter and handyman, and enjoyed his wife’s home cooking.

Bob was the life of every party. He loved his margaritas, friends and family. He will be missed by many; his memory will forever be in our hearts.
