Born fourth from a family of seven, Robert (Bob) Darwin Amrine, died January 24 at the age of 85 in Crowley, Texas survived by his wife and three children: Spouse, Billie; son, Monte and wife, Paula; son, Marte and wife, Melody; daughter, Michaela and husband, Richard Moore. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Bob spent twenty fruitful years as the pastor of Rainbow Heights Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Beginning and ending his work career in teaching, Bob worked many years serving the public as a home-improvement salesman for Sears, earning him the National Salesman of the Year Award for Sears in 1981. He also served many years as Area Director of the Pony Baseball Mustang League. His beloved hobby was wood working and he created many beautiful furniture pieces for various members of the family and his church. He was also passionate about learning and reading. No matter what his job, Bob always lived his life according to 2 Corinthians 5:20, "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ's behalf, "Be reconciled to God." Bob wanted everyone he ever met to come to Christ, his beloved savior and king.
